Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this GSI Outdoors Halulite Minimalist II one person cook set. Now this is an ultra light cook set that will come with the essentials for making hot meals and drinks while you're backpacking. It is designed to serve one person. I do want to show you everything it includes. We'll first show you it includes this sip it top, or lid, the silicone hot gripper, the folding foon, which is a combination fork and spoon.
When you clip it together it gives you your utensil there. The 20 ounce pot itself and then the insulated sleeve. Now, this is halulite pot has superior heating characteristics that allow it to heat water faster than other types of pots. Also on the side of this, you can see it does have a measurement guide that's etched into the pot for convenience. Now, this pot and the lid, when you use it as a lid, you just set it on top just like that. Now this pot and lid can transform into an insulated mug by inverting the lid, just like that, putting it on there.
Then it gives you a place to drink from, and then placing the pot into this insulated sleeve so you can hold it so it's not hot. So you can actually drink out of that. The insulated sleeve will keep beverages at the perfect temperature. Now, also this insulated silicone pot gripper right here, this will attach magnetically to a fuel canister, which is not included. So while you're cooking, so that's always at hand. So in other words, if you have this pot over a fuel canister, you can have this part here stick to the fuel canister.
I just want to give you an idea. Here's a piece of metal. You can see that it'll stick to the metal wherever you want. So your fuel canister being metal, it'll stick to that. And then anytime you need to use it, you just put your two fingers in there and then you can grip the pot just like that, pour it wherever you need.So you can see the grippers designed for your two fingers to fit into, has little flap there that'll go around it so you're not burning your fingers.
The folding foon, it's very compact. You can see pop it apart, you can store it, and then you can put it back together. Extend it to use as a fork spoon hybrid. And the nesting capabilities. In other words, when you put everything all back in here with the lid on top, makes storage nice and simple.Few dimensions on this, the overall height it's going to be right at four and one eight inches tall. The diameter on this is right at four inches. And the weight of it is only at six ounces. But that should do it for the review on the GSI Outdoors Halulite Minimalist II one person cook set.
